Let’s be honest, not many people look forward to having their pictures taken. It always sounds good in theory, but more times than not, you’re left with little direction, ‘staged’ smiles, your kiddos close to full meltdown mode & you’re ready to be done with your session as quickly as it begins. It doesn’t have to be that way! Seriously! Instead, I want to tell YOUR story while you have FUN taking pics for a change.
I want to snap away as you play Hide & Seek with your kiddos, catch you spinning your wife-to-be around in a field, & capture the excitement on your senior’s face beyond their gorgeous smile. You deserve more than images to look back on - you deserve to revisit these moments and FEEL them deep within your soul for years to come. I help to make you feel at ease & more times than not, your little ones so comfortable they’re grinning the entire time we’re together……with no meltdown in sight!
Ready to capture what happens between the poses - the unscripted laughter, the love & your true, authentic self for a change? If so, you’ve come to the right place!
READY TO BOOK YOUR SESSION?
In the meantime….

MEET ASHLEY
Hi there! I’m the Mom to two amazing kiddos, a 16 year old daughter, Kinley, and a 14 year old son, Aiden. They are LEGIT the BEST!! Then there’s my sidekick, Jason. Not only can he handle my completely random ideas, he’s been embracing them for almost 19 years now. Ours schedules are insane most of the time and often it’s absolute chaos, but I love every single second of it! I‘m a sucker for a good sunrise, I thrive off of spur-of-the-moment adventures, and I love to live out loud. I speak my mind (sometimes too often, lol) and embarrassing me is pretty difficult!
Drawing and painting have always been a love of mine but over the years I realized just how much I truly loved all forms of art. As I got older, I’d convinced myself that I could never make a living as an Artist. It wasn't until after I had my kiddos and picked up a camera that I saw photography differently than I always had. At first, I was merely documenting my children's childhood. However, I quickly realized that I could create art through a lens just as I could with pencils and paint. From that point forward, my camera became more than a way for me to take a simple picture; it was a way for me to show something more. It was a way for me to tell someone's story.
Now, over 15 years later, I'm happy to be following my true passion. I'm no longer that young, frazzled Mom raising two small kids, working an '8 to 5', while only scheduling sessions here and there. Now, I try to pour every ounce of myself into the things that bring me joy. I’ve stopped only LIVING, and instead I'm LOVING every single day. My work isn't just a job to me, it’s my passion, and I am so grateful to be able to share that passion with others through photographs.
